Re: Drawing wont extrude, even though it is a closed loop.
There are two ways to find out where the sketch needs fixing.
First, the profile inspector:
- Open the sketch for editing.
- Click the "Sketch diagnostics tools" button
3. Click the "profile inspector" button
From there it will highlight the loose ends of the sketch:
As @robert_scott_jr_ said: It will turn grey when the sketch is closed. Then it can be extruded.
I find that a little clicky so I prefer to use my custom feature "Find open profiles":
This shows the two gaps that the profile inspector finds but it also reveals a few other oddball bits of the sketch that the profile inspector doesn't report (which are dangling ends that do not prevent the sketch from closing). Maybe useful, maybe not.

if you imported x_t file that is a 3D Parasolid file not a drawing and has no sheets.

Yes, "Derive" is a very useful tool for many workflows. Hopefully that works for you.
Onscale closing?!
Less than two years after being acquired by Ansys it seems Onscale.com is being closed in the new year :(

Do they know that Fusion 360 will only let you be off line for so long. I had a chuckle when a friend wanted to demonstrate for a group how he could work without a connection. Then the program insisted that he sign in because he had been offline too long. There was no Wfi in the building. LOL
