Python Client ApiValueError for body_type when API returns lowercase 'solid'

I'm writing a python script to extract some data about the solid models in an onshape assembly. I can't get past this issue where the python library only accepts body type 'SOLID' but the onshape api returns 'solid'. Has anyone else run into this issue before, and is there a workaround? I've confirmed that the client works properly using client.documents_api.get_documents(limit=2).
