Patterns in Sketches? Patterning of Features?

Hi folks,
I like to bolt things to other things, and thus I put a lot of holes in the part I design.
There seems to be no way to pattern with in a drawing. Is this a feature that will be added at some point or is there a desire not to have patterning in sketches?
In the interim I should be able to pattern the hole I make in a part, however this does not appear to work. It seems like I can only pattern parts, not a feature applied to a part, Is this correct? If so is feature patterning in the pipeline?

We currently do not have "feature" pattern, but we do support "face" pattern. You can pattern holes by selecting the faces that comprise the hole and select the "Face Pattern" option in the pattern feature dialog. It has limitation, but will work if the topology is simple. For more complex cases, you can pattern the hole tools as separate parts, then subtract from the main part. These are work-arounds until we do the feature pattern.Scott Harris / Onshape, Inc.5
