Flexible dynamic parts

I have seen a couple of post regarding this matter but non of them answer my question so here it goes.

Is there any way to make parts act as a flexible material in an assembly?

I am making a ventilation system where one of the parts is a flexible hose frome a moving lid on a machine to a stationary ventilation duct.

    I would imagine that is something (If even considered) that would happen years down the road.

    Tubing, piping, cables, wires, chain and so on are important components when engineering so i can not imagine that there isn´t a function to do this.
