What is the best way to change the color of my model parts?

It appears that all the colors of my parts are always blue. Is there a way to control or change the colors of my parts?

There is a good explanation of how to change part colors here http://forum.onshape.com/discussion/5/i-d-like-to-be-able-to-change-the-color-of-parts-in-my-model#latest
The short version is that you can right click on the part in the parts menu and select "appearance" from the RMB, this will bring up a color selector.5
