IMPORTING ASSEMBLIES FROM SOLID WORKS TO ONSHAPE

Hi all,
        This is Chand, Why assembly mates will not apply in between the parts of any design when we import it from Solid Works, Which was already assembled in Solid Works.

    Have a search ;) this question comes up frequently...
    Every CAD system uses different mates so there is no neutral format to export mates into.  The only thing we can easily import/export are dumb solids.

    Chand - please look at the self paced training courses (and the assembly ones specifically) - there are some very specific workflows for working with imported SolidWorks data.
