Lofts. Please help a novice

bill_woodbill_wood Member Posts: 12 ✭✭

Front plane circle : 2.375 dia
Plane 1 cirlcles: 2.30 & 1.375 dia
Plane 2 circle: 1.30 dia
Planes offset 1"

Want to loft from Front Plane to Plane 1 Larger Circle & Loft from Plane1 smaller circle to plane 2

Onshape will allow a solid from plane 1 to plane 2, but only a surface from Front plane to Plane 1

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks in advance!

Make sure you are selecting the shaded area (region) to make a loft solid. Selecting the circle edges will create a surface.

As Onshape warns you: you cannot use faces or regions with inner loops as profiles for loft.
You need 2 sketches on Plane 1: one for first loft and one for second loft.
