This message constantly pops up, even though I have no unread messages. 

It also says: 
 Make sure you accept/reject the answers.

Do I need to click on "accept solution" on each thread to make it go away?

    On each answer that hasn't been accepted or rejected, there will be text at the bottom that asks "did this answer the question".
    You can then click yes or no.
    To get rid of this notification, you need to accept or reject each answer.

    you need to accept or reject the answer to get stopped from getting the pop up notifications otherwise you will be prompted again and again.
