change appearance of parts

It would be ideal to permit users to change appearance for parts by selecting a face of a part then somewhere perhaps from a right click dialog choosing change color and thereby assigning a color for that area of the part. It also helps in modeling the part since an area can be made to stand out distinctly.

You cannot colour faces at the moment.
