Best way to remove unused hardware

We use McMaster a lot during development, which often means importing 5 similar items and only using one in a design. What's the best workflow to identify and delete ones we didn't use? I was considering using a "move to document" from the top-level assembly, and deleting anything left behind, then moving it back. Anyone got a better idea?

That actually seems like a legit way to chase down the step files associated with the part studio.

It will even give you a brief list of all the referenced parts moving. Clever.

Honestly if you delete a part studio, or the step, it would be nice if it would give the option to remove the other. It already gives a warning.

So on this menu, there should be check boxes for which tabs to delete, and which to just break the reference.
