Linear Pattern - Issue with Qtys

The linear patter routine is duplicating parts incorrectly, doubling the required qty..but visually looks fine,, however results in incorrect BOM qty's. This was not the case previously...

Because second direction is patterning first direction also.

if you were to select a direction perpendicular to your first direction, you will see it makes a 2d array of your seed parts.

instead of first direction patterning north
    and second direction patterning south
    only pattern north 6 instances.

Solidworks has the option to "pattern seed only" which fixes this issue.
I think you should create an coupe of improvement request for this (Or I can if you like)

    One for "Pattern seed only"
    and another for "Centered Pattern"

Thanks, I've submitted this as a request to support. I've been using this feature quiet a while & I feel as if it only become a problem since Dec '19..

I created a modified Linear Pattern FS a while back that lets you center your seed part. Have a look.

Funny, I went looking to see if that was an existing improvement request. Turns out you're the one who submitted the request. Everyone vote here.

I asked for AssemblyScript and was told that it wasn't something they were considering :-(

Yeah, if you dinosaurs would just admit that we don't need drawings anymore there would be devs to spare to build AssemblyScript, so I hold you personally responsible Mr. @john_mcclary :p
