Extrude

Hello again! Huge greetings to all forum participants! There is a need to simulate a cup with a wall taper of 1 degree. There is no problem with the glass, but you can’t do longitudinal extrusion. I can not direct the extrusion parallel to the wall.

И снова здравствуйте! Огромный привет всем участникам форума! Назрела необходимость смоделировать стаканчик с конусностью стенки 1 градус. Со стаканом проблем нет, а вот сделать продольное выдавливание не получается. Не могу направить выдавливание параллельно стенке.

    Этого не видно в модели, обратите внимание на удобство исполъзования вспомогателъного диалога для выбора граней.

    I'd recommend using Sweep to model one of the indentations and then use Circular pattern of faces to replicate it. Also notice convenience of Create Selection dialog for selecting all the faces to be patterned

    another option is to create a sketch for the indentation on angle matching cup (either with Mate Connector or Plane).  Then use extrude as you started with.  See this example
