Vertical og Horisontal alignment of Diameter Dimensions

Ketil_VollandKetil_Volland Member Posts: 29 ✭✭✭
Optional alignment options for Diameter Dimensions. It would be a good option to be able to choose alignment (or direction) of the diameter options. Either along a vertical or horisontal axis. Currently the diameter dimension sits radially to a circular dimension. See image for suggested options (in red).

    This is set by using the Gaps and extension area under Dimension in the Drawings property panel.  Today this is a global set but we will parse this down further as we mature Drawings.

    Please can you be more specific? I can't find this setting.

    You can snap to quadrants with Shift+Q

    then you can add the diameter symbol in the dimension properties

    @john_mcclary,

    I am aware of this, but Lou talked about a global setting via the Drawing property panel.
