Hello,

With my students, I use Simscale.com to do simulations. One of them is to seach for the Drag Coefficient of an OneShape assembly.

It works fine !

But to seach the Drag Force, I need the Reference Area. ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Drag_coefficient )

The reference Area is the Projected Surface on the plane normal to the wind speed (Is it a good engish sentence :# ??)

Do you know how to find the Reference Area of an assembly in OneShape ?

For exemple the Reference Area of
Is the area of :

Do you have a simple method for it ???
:-)
