Loft gets twisted

    What you should do is split the circle into an equal number of segments with respect to the other loft profile; segment length matters. Also, use the match vertex option to control any twist that might be produced. The there are optional guide curves which can be used to further refine the shape of the loft.

    Thanks, i could manage it by splitting the round part apart. Looking good now.

    If Steve's answer worked for you it helps people who come after you with the same problem if you "accept" his answer.

    This particular issue is something I'd love to see improved in Onshape. Other parametric modelers with surfacing have ways to modify the connecting points without splitting edges or curves, which is important (to me anyway).

    This particular issue is something I'd love to see improved in Onshape. Other parametric modelers with surfacing have ways to modify the connecting points without splitting edges or curves, which is important (to me anyway).
    I’d vote for this improvement

    Hmm I think it may have something to do with the category selected when posting. If it was "discussion" then the option may not be there, but if it's "question" then you might see it. Not sure, but also not a big deal.
