exporting a spoon shape as a dxf

jr_schaferjr_schafer Member Posts: 2
I created a spoon that I am trying to export into a dxf file.  All the lines and drawing borders are being exported with the exception of the the end of the spoon which is oval in shape. I have two questions; 1) why are all of the dimension center marks and the drawing border lines being exported into the dxf file and 2) why won't the end of the spoon which is an oval or rather spline be exported at all? In fact I could not even put any sort of radius dimensions on the oval/spline.  Why is this?

Hi @jr_schafer - not sure why the end of the spoon is not exporting - please share the URL of your doc so we can take a look. If you export a drawing it will include everything - drawing borders, center marks, etc. If you just want the profile you will need to create a blank drawing template and remove the dimensions. To add a radius dimension, the entity must be a true arc therefore splines won't work.
