How do I insert a profile I have drawn from a AutoCad drawing onto a new sketch in a document?

When I import a drawing it comes in on a separate tab and is un-editable and wants me to use a third party app to work with it
All I want to do is copy the lines from the drawing and paste them onto a sketch in a new document in onshape. Seems simple but not working for me.
