How do I revolve and remove this?

In the image above I am trying to revolve the three semi circles into spheres and then remove them from the model, creating three spherical dimples. When I try to do that it says "sketch 2 could not regenerate properly". Could someone tell me what I am doing wrong?

Make sure you are revolving a CLOSED shape, because you’re not going to be able to revolve an arc only
I don’t know how to evaluate that message you got
But a problem some people have early on with revolves, where you’re trying to remove some thing, is with merge scope not being set up properly
