Missing Cross-Hatch in Desktop Version (iMac)

Hi All, I may well be a numpty, but I cannot make the cross hatch work in the Desktop version. It is fine on my iPad in the app. Am I missing a trick, or is there a glitch? Very grateful for any steers! Cheers Simon
