Multi color, multi material, and multi part printing is quickly becoming a normal workflow from CAD to slicer to 3d printer. 3MF files open up many new possibilities. 3MF is going to replace STL for 3d print workflows in the near future.
Can we get an option to export 3MF files out of Onshape? Many of the competing CAD packages already are supporting this.

Unlike stl, is includes UNITS and MATERIALS which are important. I've made inch parts in mm accidentally before.
