Is there a way to measure not dimension, just measure across the middle to the furthest outer point

I just need the measurement to know where I am at as I am trying to trace a part to recreate it. Is there just a tool that will just display the #'s?

    We have a measure tool which you can access to get all relevant measurements for your model. You can also get quick measurements by clicking on a line to get its length or two points to get the distance between them.
