Entering a # after creating a sketch object causes view to change

tgunrtgunr Member Posts: 44 ✭✭
Don't know if this is bug or a feature. If I create a circle as example in a sketch and release the mouse the dimension is selected. If I enter a "#" as the first character the view changes and I have to get back to the view I was in and then select dimension tool to enter the dimension as a variable.

If the first character is a number, the view remains as it should, then backspace and enter a '#' I can use the variable.

You can also get the dimension box by pressing the D key and dimensioning the circle, though your workaround may be faster.

Yeah, it's worth thinking about a shortcut straight there when you press #, like we do with numbers. You can submit an improvement request.
