Sketches - How to locate /lock to feature behind the sketch plane

Hi all,

looking to a feature similar to CREO - where you can activate features from other sketches/extrusions behind the current workplane, and select them on a sketch (orthogonally) that is on a plane parallel to it.

I am trying to create a sketch on the highlighted (yellow) surface and reference the slots behind it, but can not find a way to do this easily (rather than recreating dimensions from scratch)

Is it possible to select features below the sketch plane when drawing a sketch?

The tilde (~) shows nothing to select when I tried that.

Hope this makes sense.

Hover over the sketch entity you want then RMB and pick Select Other from the drop down. You will get a list that includes the feature you need.

By the way, you can also hide things from the feature/parts on the fly while in sketch mode.
