assembly instruction

We would like to move away from traditional assembly drawings and work exclusively with 3D assemblies. I am now looking for a way to specify assembly information such as tightening torque and adhesives. The document notes are too general or quickly become too confusing for our 10 assemblies. Does anyone have any ideas?
