Boat hull

Hi, I can't figure out, how to model planks that built boat hull like on photo below this 'steps' where planks meet should flattened on both ends. I tried to sketch those steps on middle bulkhead but loft give weird results in link below there is a basick shape of a hull i've made.…

How do I make a boat hull, and eventually laser cut it? I want to make it in strips on the side, using laminate/veneer (not sure of material yet). This is prototype, actual one will be made with 3 mm wood
