material identify mass weight

trying to run a simulation on a mcmaster part
I imported https://www.mcmaster.com/90156A609/ into my design. I am trying to run a simulation to see how the hardware reacts under load. I assigned materials to the imported parts, but Onshape serves a "no material applied" error.

I can assign type of material to a part and get the weight of the part okay. How do I get the total weight of the assembly? Is there not a way to show the part weights in a BOM?
