I have been tasked with designing a new tap (faucet) handle and then 3D print a set for the bathroom. At some stage it will need to fit to the internal ceramic cartridge but for the moment the method of producing hole that fits over the arrowed part [1] is eluding me. Is there somewhere a tool that I can use? I have looked for 'splined hole', 'splined shaft' 'ridged hole' 'ridged shaft' and more but so far I have drawn a blank.I am able to draw this with circles and circular patterning but I suspect there is a tool which I have yet to find. Is there?

[1] 8mm diameter and 18 ridges or splines.

If this is a one-off situation, my advice would be to measure carefully, count the number of splines - and use normal sketch tools to duplicate the profile. This shouldn't be to difficult and might take less time in the long run. Good luck.1

This is exactly what I have done but as one who has a habit of reinventing wheels I had a feeling there might be something tucked away in onshape that would do the job.
