Add variables using checkboxes
Hi. I am pretty new to onshape but not CAD work. I picked up the CAD portion of onshape rather quickly and am loving it but now i am trying to investigate featurescripts.
I have successfully created a feature script that, when i add it to a part studio, adds a ton of variables with set sizes. This is nice because now instead of creating the variable and looking up its size in each project i can add the feature. The problem is that My projects normally only need about 4 of these variables out of about 50. This means allot of clutter when using variables in formulas…Is there a way that i can add check boxes to the feature GUI and only the variables that are checked will be added to the project?

If you've not referenced my Youtube video on the topic give it a watch. Now that Variable Studios are rolled out, that might be a better way to get what you're after. Assuming you want to get it with a feature still though, here's an example.

Thank you for the example. it took me a minute to figure out how to assign the variables but i figured it out. This got me very close to what i wanted.
