is it possible to get a flat pattern from this twisted part?

There is a way using the flatten surfaces tool .

It took a while to find and hit the bottom RH corner "analysis tools"….thank you
rather involved with export to dfx
Ya, the tool is a nice addition but a little clunky.
Now that you've found it…. why not make a custom keyboard shortcut so that you never need to look again! For what it's worth, mine is set to "x"but it could be just about anything.
I had to download the export ….it did not offer the options to put it in a tab….seems to me that should be a simple link in the software.
Good idea but one would have thought the search tools box in the upper RH corner would have found it
