Error in closing mechanism

Hello, I have been 3d printing and 3d designing for a while now and for some reason my designs for the hinge make the 3d printed object not look closed on the other corners. Here is a image if you can see it:

What are the measurements that you use for a object to close all around it with a locking mechanism since I am running low on filament.
