References not auto-updating

Up until a few days ago, my main assembly would automatically update all references. Now, for even sub-assemblies, I need to update each individual reference. This has annoyed me because in the past I didn't need to create new versions every time.

Are your assemblies still in the same single document and referencing Main instead of a version of the current document? Usually it only requires you to update if they are not in the same document or if they are manually set to a specific version of the current document.
