MBD - How to place datums on dimensions or feature frames?

erik_emstaderik_emstad Member Posts: 7 PRO

I cannot see the method to attach a datum to a dimension in the MBD toolset. Is this not currently possible?

@erik_emstad It's currently not possible but on our nearer term efforts to get to. There are few separate improvements for these areas that will roll out when each of them are ready. Attachments for datums can mean very different things for the datum and it's semantic data that we capture. For example a mid plane datum attachment on a linear dimension is different than a single face datum on the extension line of a dimension. I've created a support ticket for you.
