I need help to make a cycloidal rack, I found equations online for x and y that can be implemented in 3ds or fusion360 but there is no description anywhere on how to do it in Onshape. I also found that in feature script there is a parametric curve option where you can enter equations for x and y but I can't get that equation to work due to differences in how the programs work.
x = (Rcos(t))-(Rrcos(t+arctan(sin((1-N)t)/((R/(EN))-cos((1-N)t)))))-(Ecos(Nt))y = (-Rsin(t))+(Rrsin(t+arctan(sin((1-N)t)/((R/(EN))-cos((1-N)t)))))+(Esin(Nt))
N - Number of rollers
Rr - Radius of the roller
R - Radius of the rollers PCD (Pitch Circle Diamater)
E - Eccentricity - offset from input shaft to a cycloidal disk

Onshape will start suggesting terms and function as you start typing them into the equation. Have started adding it into onshape yet or are you just fishing right now?
I've tried playing around with different functions, but it's too difficult for me. Honestly, I didn't have sines or cosines in school yet, I'm in my first year of middle school majoring in mechatronics techniques.
