Need Help With a Project....

Hi all,

First I've enjoyed learning OnShape as a complete newb, but I've been beating my head against the wall with what is probably a simple task.

I started on a whim for a retro 8-Track tape rack that is supposed to look like a wrapped Christmas package. I've been beating my head against a wall trying to repeat an extruded bell pattern across stripes of the 'wrapping paper' on the back side as a start…

I pretty simply got the middle stripe by importing an image and using a linear pattern. It was a struggle to get the lower stripe configured and what's worse is that I forget how I did it since its been a week or two since I was able to work on it. With AIs help, I think I've tried just about everything.

Additionally, once the back side is complete, I'll need to figure out how this will wrap around the rack, except for the front side. I also have an idea for the sides of the package to make it look how wrapping is folded, but I think that is a dream at this point.

Is there anyone willing to take a look to help me out or fix my project? I'm sure this is probably an easy task for a seasoned professional!

Look into this featurscript "transform pattern". It might make it easier to place the bells at the spots you want. You'd just need a point for each spot, that you can create in a single sketch.
