Niche feature script.
I know this is a somewhat niche feature, but it is something I've wanted for years. I like the fact that with the MCP, I can now create things like this even though I have no coding experience. Just thought I would share it in case anyone else could find a use for it.
Warning: I have not done extensive testing for robustness.

I built it to help design hydraulic tube assemblies that will be manufactured with end-forming tools. I included the nuts to clearly communicate design intent, and I used info from a braze-on end for the same reason. When I order these tube assemblies, they are considered one part number, so that's why it's a composite part. The supplier I order these from is mostly just interested in lengths and bend info; this works for me, but it might not for the next fellow.

This is really cool! I've worked on similar things for a client. Does your supplier care that the routing curve table gives centerline radius, not tool radius?

I haven't had much experience using a table, so I'm not sure. I was detailing drawings before. If I remember correctly, back when I asked for the bend specs, their tooling was built on a centerline spec which is what they gave me.

Just FYI, I used to create these tubes by starting with a routing curve, sweeping a profile along it, placing it in an assembly, adding the nuts and ends with mates, then doing an In Context Parts Studio transform, copying the assembly, and using the composite part tool. Convoluted and challenging to maintain!!!
The real eye-opener and inspiration to complete this tool came when I realized I could feed STEP files into Claude and have it extract the needed info. I started out thinking I might be able to load STEP files into Onshape and have it somehow derive them into the tool, but before I even got that far, I realized that wasn't necessary.
This has my wheels spinning on some more tools now.
