Feature recognition

Hi Onshapers,
I'm looking to make some mods to a component that has been imported from a STEP file. Is there a feature recognition tool / import option as using the direct editing tools on lots of holes is tedious?
Alternatively is there scope for feature recognition if the component is imported in a native CAD format such as .sldprt?

I'm looking for something like this;
I did however find the create selection tool with hole filter that did speed up the selection process for counterbores.
