How do I achieve part 5 but with a configurable number of tabs like with part1 + the linear pattern of part2, part3, part4?
I mean I need the number of tabs to be configurable but the tabs to be a hole with with main body without the unnecessary edges.
I can do this with a linear pattern on the sketch level but then it is not configurable going forward.

you need to use linear pattern with "feature pattern" option, or select "add" tab of feature pattern instead of "new", and then specify target part
