Extrude remove or boolean - complex profile

Hi folks. I am looking for the best way to make this object hollow - I want to make the walls about 0.75" thick. I modeled it as a solid and expected to use a boolean or extrude to hollow it out, but the exterior profile has changed and now that proves more difficult.

Any input is appreciated. Thanks!

You can insert shell feature with option Hollow as done here
Thank you! That is exactly what I needed. Is it possible to use the shell feature and have the cavity open to the top?

Alternatively, I could use an extrude to create the opening in the top.
