Multibody STL file

I have 2 parts in a Parts Studio that are not connected (they don't intersect) but are interlinked (like 2 links in a chain,) I want to export them as a single STL file so that I can 3D print the 2 interlinked parts. Any ideas are appreciated.

    Who's this "xphilip" pro-user-type-personage?  "x" as in ex-Onshape?  I hope not...

This thread is the closest thing I've found to the problem I'm having, but doesn't present an answer.  Hoping someone can help…

I'm trying to export an assembly from OS to print with Xometry using Polyjet in multimaterial.  They require a single STL of the assembly with multiple bodies in order to print the different parts in different materials.  If I export the assembly as a single file, I get a single part in a single material.  If I export the assembly as multiple files, I get multiple parts.

    Can anyone offer any advice?

    Thanks in advance!
