Remove Configuration Input Dependency from Configured Properties

There must be an older improvement request for this, as this seems like obvious limitation of the Configured Properties table. I can't find an original post to upvote, and since it still hasn't been implemented, I thought I'd bring it up. Could we please have the ability to remove configuration input dependencies for configured properties? I want my part numbers to be correct in assemblies. I have several parts studios with configuration variables that I don't want to affect part numbers.
