Bool spiral text on a sphere

Can a model like this be accomplished in OnShape? I know that Blender has some warping tools for this, but I would rather do it in a parametric tool.

Example with the surface text feature: https://cad.onshape.com/documents/a22b8c2aee5bdf4024649f45/w/233df46cd37b942874528c92/e/787fa2875ed04da7c41e25cf
Though it may not get you the exact variation you see in the image.0 -
Thanks _anton. That is a good start. But I think the real way to do this would be to create a vector image of the text and graphics, import it in, conform it to a sphere then extrude or bool.Is it possible to "conform it to a sphere" in OnShape?0

AFAIK, the Wrap feature doesn't support spheres. If you're willing to put in the legwork, a custom feature would be the way to do this - project a helix onto a sphere, make a text sketch and extrude it for each letter, transform it onto an appropriate position on the spiral.
Edit: though you *may* be able to get a very similar effect with surface text - I don't know, I haven't played with it much.0 -
Thanks again Anton. I think in this case, a tool such as Blender is the faster path. I do appreciate your quick and informed feedback.
