I've not seen anything like what you're asking for. It can be done with the centerline tool using 3 centerlines. Not as convenient but it works (View Post)1 -

You could copy the link and store some place for your students to find then copy/past into the search bar to find exactly the same script in the add custom feature. (View Post)3 -
