still not very clear. but when you open the sketch and check 'show constraints' it shows that the lines creating the portion you'r cutting out in Extrude 1 are constrained horizontally and vertically… (View Post)3 -

The key is to really understand the geometry precisely and it'll tell you how to model it. see how all lines are converging in the middle to the centre, so probably it'll be revolved/circular pattern… (View Post)1
