Re: is there a way to highlight what isn't contained in a sketch?
There should be a 'check geometry' tool to find unconstrained sketch entities AND also open gaps between curves. Would save very much time and nerves with imported geometry. (View Post)3 -

You could maybe use mate connectors. One in the middle of the cylinder face, and one between the edges of the rectangulat tube, or, in case the support has a square bottom, a connector in the square'… (View Post)1
