Re: Onshapers or Onshapists
It is a matter of consistency and cannot be decided upon as a standalone issue: It all depends on whether Onshape itself is an -ism, an -ion, or an -ology. I always get extra careful if things are - isms or - ions, for this rises the probability level of feet loosing grip to the ground.
So I think we're Onshapologists as long as we merely theoreticise on it, and might even be Onshapicians if we actually practicise it.
Re: Onshapers or Onshapists
Lets not make it a binary problem - here a third one: Onshapionists.

Re: Onshapers or Onshapists
Isn't really something you can choose. Takes a bit longer to reach the title Onshapist.
Re: Toy coaster track
@kohinoor_basu I've led you astray. My apologies. @glen_dewsbury has helped me see the light. Profile direction lock with the front plane as the lock was the solution. I didn't quite have a grasp on how those locks worked yet. They don't come up much in the stuff I work on. Also I see you've been playing with lofts with paths. You don't need a different loft with each segment of the path. that's a lot of extra sketches. just a profile at the start and the end. and pick all the segments in between for the path. Much like the sweep with one profile.

Re: Toy coaster track
My 2c worth. I like the sweep since it only needs 1 profile sketch with lock profile direction as Greg noted.
This one has a fairly simple pattern but I can see where complexity could build for sweep path on a busier track.
Re: I have this error code, e529cda6f0863ba27d51ea0d can someone tell me what it means?
Doesn't mean anything useful outside of support. Surprised to see an error on such a simple Document. Make a copy of the Document and work on that instead - should remove the error, or report a bug.
Re: Onshapers or Onshapists
Northern Hemisphere are "ers" and Southern Hemisphere are "ist". Equator you are "erist". 😂
Onshapers or Onshapists
@MichaelPascoe raised this important issue in another post (linked below), but i think it needs some serious consideration!
Are we ers or ists?
