Re: out of memory?
Where does this message appear? Inside Onshape or Windows? Is a document open at the time of the error? Thanks.
Re: Rendering: Section Views
Sections do work, so if there are cases you are finding please log a support ticket.
The reason for cap color override is when you have > 1 section.
Re: Rendering: Section Views
RenderStudio can do sections, but not the same as regular Onshape. This definitely seems like a shortcoming. Many of the major issues have been/are being addressed, but there are many places where it's a bit rough around the edges.

woo FINALLY! This was always the hope. I have been willing it to be 👹

Re: How to turn off export for all files in OnShape Company Account
S1mon is right. Please look deeper into the enterprise permission controls and role management. Last company I worked with that shut off file permissions for all during an audit went out of business shortly after. They missed all the deadlines.
I's been a while since I had access to OS enterprise, but I recall you have a wide range of logging and analytics there. It might be quite appealing to the management, but it is a horror cabinet for any designer, IMHO.
Re: How to turn off export for all files in OnShape Company Account
How will your users do any real work if they can never export files? I can understand contexts where you might limit exports to certain teams or roles, but if no one in the company can export, how do you make parts?
Are you on an Enterprise plan? There's a lot more fine grained control over security and analysis.

Yeah this is Awesome, SO much freeformability!
My 2 asks
Like Simon speaks to, the lack of parametric reprocessing is the a downfall. With point references used, the point position will update with upstream changes, but the direction and continuity of the original input is lost.
- How hard would it be to add a checkbox for reprocessing/remember inputs on regeneration? I'd like to see parametric updates reflected based on input settings.
My workflow: (think bicycle frame - connecting top tube to down tube - head tube junction, silhouette)
-Create bridging curve between two bodies, G3 at each end
-Use Control Point Curve, edge input, select bridging curve
-Elevate from processed 7-degree to 9-degree
-Add reference point selections at start and end CV's, and also reference point selections for 2 middle CV's to anchor to a location on the head tube
-Make some tweaks to the middle CV's while bumping up the weight on a few points (LOVE THIS) to create unique curve.
This is great this first time its created. But when up tree/primary geometry changes or we go to create the next size frame the CPC does not maintain its input, so the curve essentially needs to be manually reprocessed.
2. Add an option for the control point offset to reference their original starting position, rather than origin or chosen reference point. I think this would better work alongside means for scaling and parametric reprocessing.
Greg, I know you got this ;)
Thanks again for the great new tools and training aids!
