This all continues to be great… but when will the Render come to the Education version. If you add that into the Edu version then Voila, most likely Onshape will become the most popular CAD software in schools and colleges. Everyone always asks about Onshape but when told they cannot render they look elsewhere.

CAM Studio is not implicitly available for all Educator plans, but now can be enabled for eligible Educator plans. We should have more in the coming weeks about it.
Re: Offset problem inwards a multi point sketch.
Also, as a general rule, offsetting surfaces is more robust than offsetting sketch entities. So if you already have a surface you are more likely to be able to offset that instead of the sketch.
Also, it seems like you should be able to use a "thin extrude" from the sketch or a "thicken" of the surface
