Re: BOM ability to add part configuration property column?
My question would be, how did you rename the property?
I would like to add my own Properties to my BOM, something like "Price" or "Comment". I dont like "Title1" "Title2" and so on...
How can i change the titles of the properties? (i mean your columns are named X, Y and Z) How did you do that?
Re: Fillet complex shape
Your first sketch was pretty poorly defined. Tighten it up with some tangent constraints and it fillets just fine.
Re: How to Set Sketch Origin to Plane Origin in Onshape?
Use a Mate connector for the Sketch plane then you can control the origin and orientation without FS.
Re: Imported DXF Not Fully Defined
Just had the same issue a few days ago. Imported DXF do NEVER come defined. Depending on what it is (mine was a simple word logo) it can be super complex, with types of curves which you'll never be able to fully constrain after the fact.
I've read about an interesting approach in someone elses post two or three days ago, though. It is probably a dirty workaround, but I tried anyway and it did the job: I imported the DXF into some separate document, made sure the sketch was closed but didn't care if it was fully defined and put that in my project folder with no intention of ever editing it. Then, I derived that into my actual design, scaled and wrapped it onto my target face. The fun part here is that a derive will always be fully constrained, because it is derived. ;0)
I have yet to try if I can just swap it, in case the grapic designer comes up with a new version of the logo, but it appears at least possible.
CAM studio API
Hi!
Seeing the presentation for Onshape CAM studio, I was wondering when we can expect the Glassworks explorer to be updated with documentation for the API endpoints for CAM studio? I am currently doing a project which utilizes some of Onshape´s REST API enpoints, and coincidentally I have recently discovered that CAM might be very beneficial for my project!
(First time posting, so hopefully the category is okay)
How to wrap on a non-circular curve?
I want to create a specific texture on the following curve curved surface. When I try using a wrap it lets me pick the circular surface next to it, but not this one. Is it possible to project onto this sort of curve?
