Re: Pattern for feature (Triangle Tile)
Neil's Fill Pattern custom feature is close to what you want.
Re: Pattern for feature (Triangle Tile)
Julia's Isogrid feature is exactly what you want, but adds holes and fillets to the mix. There's no option not to fillet the corners but I'm sure you can comment all of that part of it out if you want sharp corners.
Re: Pattern for feature (Triangle Tile)
The ones above are great for this, but my Grid Extrude is also a very simple way. Here's a video tour.
Re: Pattern for feature (Triangle Tile)
yeah, try @EvanReese 's Grid Extrude: Here's an example (see screenshot below)
It can do what you're looking for, although if you want to have it end at whole triangles, i'm not sure it'll work.
that might be worth a feature-improvement-request, although it may be a cumbersome one.
in your case i thickened the border with a 'move face' an easy improvement for Evan: setting the boundary with a custom width.
Re: Pattern for feature (Triangle Tile)
@jelte_steur814 I opted against a separate border width, but I've run into it enough times (and others have too) so I'll have to add it. I also like the idea of some kind of cull border so you don't end up with tiny incomplete slivers or something, but that'll take more thought.
Re: Pattern for feature (Triangle Tile)
Actually went ahead and added it. update to V15 for that!
Custom Feature: Gear Rack
Realized I needed to design two gear racks for a robotics project, and rather than spend 20 minutes doing it manually, I wrote up a custom feature to automate it with some quality of life features (helical/herringbone teeth, fast regeneration, alignment stuff, blah blah blah)
Snag it here if you'd like!
100 tooth regen time
Got me thinking that it might be interesting to try to create a rack generator that works for an arbitrary path - generating the correct involute based on the local curvature. Could lead to some neat mechanisms, lmk if that's something you'd find useful.
Cheers!

Re: Revision Table Edits
I have the same issue/request as the OP; I tried editing the Revision Table template as @romeograham told, but there isn't an option for an "editable field" as the OP asked for. I tried creating a custom property named "Zone" with the same characteristics of the Revision Description property, but still it won't let me edit that directly in the drawing. Am I doing something wrong?
Re: Render Battle #6 - Coffee time ☕(Winner gets a real Prize!)
@bryan_lagrange I guess this would be the Edgar Mitchell award.
