Re: Frame profile library not updating
Thank you - quitting the browser and restarting seems to have done the trick!
Re: Measurements in assemblies
Yes, the measure tool (bottom right of your screen, or keyboard shortcut is [ )
Re: How to mate a bracket to an extrusion
Yeah if you don't have control over the doc where the part comes from then you have to either copy it or use a derive to create your own "version" of it unfortunately.
Re: added a image onto one of my parts but does not show in assembly or drawing
You can however use the Decal Tool which is under the Transform Tool Drop Down.
This will show up in a drawing but you you need to set the viewport to show Shaded View

Re: Onshape triggering autofill in Safari
I'm actually surprised you can even use Safari. I tried it a few times about 2 years ago on my dayjob real-world assemblies, and it would completely choke. The same computer and asm on Firefox, Chrome, and Edge was fine. IDK if its better now, I'm afraid to even try it.
For small personal projects for me its fine.
Cutting in a ring
Hello! My english is not so perfect, but I want to discribe my problem: I have a ring with a nose on one end and want to make 8 cuts in the ring with a with of 1.5mm and a deep of 6 mm. I have no idea how to make it. It will be a holder to snap in another part, so I need to cut it in 8 times. I hope someone can help me and you understand what I mean! BR from Germany
Re: Cutting in a ring
Vielen Dank!
Re: Cutting in a ring
@frank_jünemann - Deiser Tiel ist sehr einfach, aber ist das Ihre Absicht?
